If you’re taking a train into town, Grand Central - 42 St. Station, New York W 32nd St. Station and New York Penn Station are the stations closest to Manhattan. We went for walks every day in Central Park (right across the street). Central Park is just steps away as are restaurants and shops on Columbus Avenue and Broadway. Our heat didn't work when we got in our room and they moved us to a bigger room to accommodate with no fuss at all. It is comfortable, bright, and accommodating.

Position is great, and the staff so kind. Great Staff, Quite hotel, Great Location! Four Seasons Hotel New York, designed by I.M. Midtown and the Upper East Side a short walk away and there are five subway line stops five minutes away. Unfortunately during our stay we did not get to utilize the TV in our room due to the rain which affected the TV service throughtout the hotel according to the staff. Fifth Avenue is 528 feet form the property. Centrally in Midtown Manhattan on Fifth Avenue, this hotel is across from the Grand Army Plaza and Central Park's main entrance. Accessible prices and comfortable rooms, Very attentive staff. This hotel, located in the center of Manhattan's Upper West Side, is 1 block from Central Park. There were subway stations all around us and Apple Maps is integrated to make it super easy.
The park is surrounded by museums, and posh residential buildings - including the Dakota. Do check for the cheapest prices because it can range from a flat rate to paying per minute. The place is nice and the stuff is friendly, they cleaned the apartment every day! You can go out for a good morning run at central park and on your way back to the hotel, you could load yourself up with fresh fruits from street stands!!!!! Subway stop is one block over. Perfect location. Times Square is just over half a mile away.
